20 Years and Going Strong!

It was 20 years ago, 2003, when I went out on my own. It was ten years after I graduated from college. I was married with a 5-year-old and another on the way. We had a huge mortgage on the new house. And with all that, I decided to quit my stable job and start my new CADD consulting business. It seemed like a crazy decision to some around me, but I’m glad I did it.

Now, here we are, 2023, celebrating our 20th anniversary, and we still work with the first two firms we began with 20 years ago! Today we have a team of almost 20 working remotely across eight states serving clients in many more. While the software and tech have changed, our focus has stayed the same. We’re here to help our clients be more productive by simplifying and optimizing tech.

As I think about how we made it through 20 years, I believe it boils down to a few things;

  • We like helping people.
  • We like figuring out complex stuff.
  • We like making that complex stuff easy for you to use.
  • We embrace change and continual learning.
  • We aren’t afraid of a little hard work.

What’s next? It’s hard to know, but embracing innovation is something we’ll continue to do. We love new tech, and we love seeing the possibilities. In the next few years, I think we will see significant impacts from AI, and the promise of BIM may soon be realized as Building Digital Twins. One thing that will not change is our focus on helping our clients. We’ll continue to be by your side, helping you figure it all out.

I’m very fortunate to have been surrounded by an incredible team, and it’s been a privilege to collaborate with so many great clients over the years. I look forward to new discoveries and partnerships, and I’m excited for the next 20 Years!
